Catelyn on cleaning

I was folding laundry and asked Catelyn to pick a few toys in the living room...really there wasn't but maybe 3-4 things that she needed to pick up. She said she didn't want to pick them up alone -Courtney was at school- so she was going to fold laundry instead. So, she did. She got right in there and helped me "fold" laundry. I thought it was funny that she'd rather tackle a laundry basket full of laundry, instead of picking up 3-4 toys and being done!

This poor girl has the CrAzIeSt hair ever! It's actually quite comical at times!

Mini Adult

This morning when I dropped Courtney off at school, her friend was walking in at the same time. They both ran to each other and hugged and stood there talking before they went in. Courtney was standing there with her hands in her sweater pockets just gabbing away with her friend. She looked so grown up! She looked like a mini adult the way she was standing there. It only lasted for a couple seconds so I didn't have time for a picture.

She IS growing up too fast though. She is so excited to be 7. She keeps telling me that the year is shorter now so her birthday is coming up really soon and that means she's almost 7. September and 7 will be here soon enough...I don't need her rushing her growing up any faster!

Biker Girl

Click on the picture to see it bigger

I bought this bike for Courtney when she was about a year and half old or so and now 5 year later, her baby sister is riding it around! I wouldn't have thought Cammy was big enough for it, but she saw it out in the garage one day and Mark put her on it and off she went! She can push it by herself with her feet on the ground and she goes super fast! We have to stay right with her on the sidewalk to make sure she doesn't go too fast and crash! She loves this bike so much that we can't go out in the garage with her unless we want her to ride it because she will throw a HUGE fit if she sees it and can't ride it! Such a big girl now =/

Ahhhh!

The girls and I were at my parents the other day and they were riding their stick horses around when Courtney got a branch and started acting like she was an old decrepit cowgirl. I started recording her on my cell phone and her reaction to me telling her that I was recording was hilarious! And if you look in the background, you can see Catelyn galloping away on her "wor-see".

Poor Leprechaun

A Leprechaun visited our home on St.Patty's Day....he brought coloring sheets and green cookies. He pee'd in the toilet, turning it green. He turned our milk green and left the kitchen in a HUGE mess after baking the cookies. The girl's didn't know what to think about the green milk and kind of thought he might have pee'd in it, so they weren't too thrilled. I think the funniest part of the whole thing is how the poor leprechaun got blamed for EVERYTHING that happened around here. He got blamed for the girls' messy bedroom, he got blamed for their blankets being a mess on their bed,and he got blamed for losing their toys and shoes--anything they could think of, they'd blame him. Well, here it is 1 week later and that poor leprechaun is STILL being blamed for things around here!

Too bad they don't know that leprechauns don't even exist =D

Or do they? That could explain the messy house!

Courtney on cleaning

While cleaning house today, I told Courtney to pick up the toys in the living room while I cleaned the kitchen, and then we could do something fun. After a while, she wanted something and I said "Right now I am doing my part of cleaning" in hopes that she'd start doing her part and she said "Well, right now I am doing my part of NOTHING!"

Giggles&BellyLaughs

I started this blog to document some of the things my 3 daughters do and say. And, as a way to share things that they do with family!

Right now Courtney is 6 and is in Kindergarten.

Catelyn is 4 and goes to preschool one day a week.

Cammy will be 18 months in 6 days and is pretty much attached to me at the hip!

They are the sunshine of my life!

This was their Christmas pic from 2010. They were in Christmas pj's this year instead of dresses. Cammy kept pulling the Santa hat over her face and laughing. And, Catelyn wouldn't look right at the camera when I was taking their picture, which is the norm for her.
